Congratulations! Welcome to the world little one. You've just had your baby, and you spent a few nights in the hospital, if you had a hospital birth. There were so many people there that you could ask for help from. Maybe you even took advantage of the newborn nursery and were able to take an uninterrupted nap, while the nurses cared for your new baby. But it's time to go home. It's time for you and your new baby to leave the hospital and start your lives as a family. But wait, where will the baby sleep? How will you take a shower? What will you eat? How will you get any sleep? The first night home is often a stressful event for new parents. There's so much to worry about with a new baby that parents often find themselves in a stressful situation, which leaves them sleepless and unable to enjoy what should be a cherished moment. Wouldn't it be nice to have a smiling face to tuck you in after you endured such a monumental event? To be there when you need her the most, when you can't sleep because you're too worried. To be there when you're just learning how to swaddle and too tired to figure it out. Your doula has the caring touch that you need for your first few nights at home. She will be there throughout the night and will be able to answer any questions you may have or simply ease any of your worries. You may be new to this parenting thing. Your doula can help you figure it all out, leaving you well-rested and with peace of mind.

While our doulas may seem like magical creatures from a distant land, we aren't medical professionals. Stockholm Doulas are more than happy to help with light cleaning and organization; however, we don't do any deep/heavy cleaning. If you need a referral for a medical provider or cleaning services, we are more than happy to help.

Absolutely! There are two different ways how we can help. 1. We can make a custom virtual package, where we work together over the phone, email, or teams. 2. One of our professionally trained doulas or sleep coaches travels to you! The best way to figure out what's best for you and your family is to give us a call.

Yes! Most of our services are RUT deductible, so feel free to view our page and we will help you along the way.

Yes! While our primary focus is the postpartum period, we attend births upon request. It is expected that your experience will be as unique as you are, and you deserve individualized care. Stockholm Doulas takes the time to learn about the specific plans, wishes, and philosophies of every client. Rest assured that our doulas will meet and exceed your expectations because we know how important this event is in your life. Our capacity to anticipate and respond to the needs of birthing families, sets us apart from the support that friends or loved ones can offer during birth.
